On December 12th we had the annual Christmas Holmes Christmas Party. Jackie was in charge this year, so we stayed in Cedar to celebrate. It was an evening of food and fun. In fact, Chris and I were lucky enough to win the roving Christmas gift from Grandma Holmes.(The first winners ever!) It was a copy of "The Christmas Story" on DVD and the very coveted leg lamp. Wow, how cool is that to display in the front window? Anyways, thanks to Jackie and family for a wonderful evening!!
Kid Talk
May 18, 2012-
Jace spilled his snowcone all over the counter. I gave him some paper towels to clean it up. After he refused, I sent him to get his pj's on and go to bed. He ran into my bedroom and after a couple of minutes, came out holding a card. inside he has written, "Dear Mom, I just always love you. I just always do an addatood. Love your son Jace"
Summer 2011-
Matt, Jen, Chris and I were eating lunch at Main Street Grill. Not long after we arrived, Matt received a phone call phone Jace stating that his kids were really bugging him!
Summer 2010-
Chris was eating green olives out of a jar. Jace came by and looked at the olives and said, "I can't wike that!!"

Jace has been calling up Granny & Papa everyday. He even has their number memorized. This is how the conversation goes:
Jace: Hi Papa!
Grandpa: Well, hello there Jace!
Jace: I come to your house!
Before I know it, Grandpa is at our house to pick him up!
