Chris and I took the kids to the Heritage Center last Monday for Family Home Evening. We looked at many wonderfully decorated trees and the kids got to make Christmas crafts and cookies. They even got to visit the "North Pole" and sit on Santa's lap! It was an evening to remember!
Kid Talk
May 18, 2012-
Jace spilled his snowcone all over the counter. I gave him some paper towels to clean it up. After he refused, I sent him to get his pj's on and go to bed. He ran into my bedroom and after a couple of minutes, came out holding a card. inside he has written, "Dear Mom, I just always love you. I just always do an addatood. Love your son Jace"
Summer 2011-
Matt, Jen, Chris and I were eating lunch at Main Street Grill. Not long after we arrived, Matt received a phone call phone Jace stating that his kids were really bugging him!
Summer 2010-
Chris was eating green olives out of a jar. Jace came by and looked at the olives and said, "I can't wike that!!"
July 19, 2010
Jace has been calling up Granny & Papa everyday. He even has their number memorized. This is how the conversation goes:
Jace: Hi Papa!
Grandpa: Well, hello there Jace!
Jace: I come to your house!
Before I know it, Grandpa is at our house to pick him up!

Mary Ann & Ed sent me $20 for my birthday in a card.
I was eating lunch with Chris downtown and received this text from Alyssa: Mom, it's going to rain
My text in return: Yes it is
Alyssa: Do we have an unbella?
Me: I don't think so
Alyssa: When you get done, you can go buy me an unbella with your 20 bucks!
More Alyssa texts (she swipes Chris' phone to text me in the next room.)
Alyssa: Hi Mom, this is Lys
Me: Hi Lys
Alyssa: Your a steaker (stinker?)
Me: No way
Alyssa: You are
Me:You are!
Alyssa: Ooo its on

Jace: "Me is Four!"
Me: "You say, I am Four"
Jace: "Me say, I am Four!"
or the other variation:
Jace: "Me is Four!"
Me: "I am Four"
Jace: "You is not Four, Me is Four!"

Me: "Jace, I'm gonna mess you up!"
Jace: "No mess it up, me!"

I say to Jace: "You are trouble!!"
Jace: "No, I Bubba!"

Fun stuff going on with your family. That reminded me of when we went on the Poalr Express last year down in the Grand Canyon. Fun memories are made. Aren't home evenings great?
