A Fun Family-filled Week!

Our Fourth of July celebration was actually celebrated on the third of July this year. Matt's family was in town on the Thursday, July 3rd and then left to a family reunion for Jen's side of the family on the fourth. We had a great time going out to eat and watching "Wall-e" at the movie theater. We were also treated to a fireworks show courtesy of Matt. (Thanks Matt!)

On Sunday, July 6th, Matt blessed baby Trenton in Mom & Dad's Ward in Cedar City. We haven't ever been able to attend any of their baby's blessings before. We were so happy to be able to be there! Our family enjoyed spending some time with Jen's Family throughout the morning and afternoon.

At the beginning of this last week, our chicken's started earning their keep. We got our first egg! You would have thought we won the lottery. The kids (along with Chris) have really enjoyed raising the chickens!

Thursday night, Chris took me out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. Then on Friday, Jocey made me a ham and egg breakfast and cleaned the whole kitchen. She is always so thoughtful! Later on that day, my friends took me out to lunch. We ate at Ninja and had a great time eating and talking. Thanks Lynette for arranging a fun birthday celebration!

Tonight, Chris and I took the kids to the "July Jamboree". The city closes off a portion of Main Street for a car show with tons of food, activities and music. Chris actually went ahead of time to set up a booth for the SUU Athletic Club (which he has actively participated in through the last year.) All in all, the kids had a great time but were a little disappointed when it started to rain.

Hello,
Thank you for the compliment. I digitally scrapbook. I love it! With small children around, it is impossible to have all the things for traditional scrapbooking out.
We are not going to be able to come to the reunion. James's sister and her family came from New York and their son is getting baptized that day. Sorry. Tell everyone hello for us.

It was such a fun time! Thanks, again, for all your help in getting Trent's blessing brunch prepared and pulled off.

Happy Birthday, sounds like you had a great day!

Love you guys,

Jen
