Happy Easter

We are coming to the end of our Easter break. We have had some fun family time over the last few days. Since the weather has been rather cold, we decided to do our celebrating indoors. On Thursday we went to "Horton Hears a Who" and visited Granny and Papa on the way home. The kids always get so excited to go see Granny and Papa, even if we only live a half mile away. On Saturday we decorated Easter cookies and enjoyed a women's SUU softball game. (We are walking distance from the University and are loving the year-round sports!) Today the kids woke up at 4:00 a.m. to find their Easter surprises. After finding their hidden eggs, we went back to bed for a few hours before church. Our church block was filled with great lessons and music to remember the true meaning of Easter. After church we spent a couple of hours at Dave & Julie's house with four of Chris' siblings and their families. After a wonderful meal, Aunt Jackie organized an egg hunt for the kids. The cousins also enjoyed games of basketball and baseball. We had a wonderful holiday and hope you all had the same!

Sounds like the perfect day! Glad you guys had such a good time--wished we could have been there with you!

Love the pics from "Family to family." What a neat organization.

Didn't you just love that movie? Julie and I were laughing out loud! I love it when kid movies have a little adult humor to keep us awake:)

What a wonderful Easter and
I'm sure the kids loved every minute of it! We had a good time with Mar...you two talk so much a like! You both take after your sweet mommy.
